Couer d'Alene's City Park is a scenic urban recreation area with a sandy beach families can swim at when it's warm and sports facilities such as volleyball and basketball courts, all on over 16 acres of land. There is a popular summer concert series presented at the park, which also provides picnic facilities, a swimming area, volleyball, basketball courts, tour boats and seaplane rides. The park lies along the waterfront, just west of downtown.
